We offer a variety of fun, healthy and educational programs, including:
- Tuesday luncheons with interesting speakers
- Lunch Club 60 Nutrition Program on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
- Local trips
- FREE to all classes including Feldenkrais Method balance and coordination program, Euchre lessons and Balance, strength and mobility class
A variety of fun and healthy classes FREE to Pittsford residents and $3.00 for non-residents, including:
- Arthritis Exercise class
- Line Dancing – beginner and advanced
- Non-impact Aerobics (NIA)
- Square Dancing
- Tai Chi
- Zumba Gold class
Weekly meetings are held each Tuesday in the Community room of the VanHuysen Senior Center, located at 3750 Monroe Avenue, unless otherwise noted.
Members bring a sandwich for lunch at 12 noon (special meals are announced in advance); the club provides dessert and beverage. Donations are received to help defray operating expenses. Lunch is followed by a program presentation after which members stay for cards and other games until 3:30 PM.

Pittsford Senior Citizens is a non-profit organization, representing approximately 1,200 individuals ages 50 years and over, living in the Town of Pittsford. Our mission is to provide services, programs, and activities for retired citizens on a frequent and regular basis. We strive to provide opportunities for senior citizens that will support independent living, enhance health and well-being, educate and contribute to their feelings of self-worth and community belonging.
Pittsford Senior Citizens serves retired residents and those ages 50 and over. A variety of activities and programs are offered. Channel 12 on cable TV gives information on our current activities, and the monthly newsletter (see links above) provides details about specific events. Call our office to receive new member information. There are no membership fees.
